RISE Ecstatic Dance

RISE is a weekly ecstatic dance; a space where you can be in your body, be in your expression, and be in community. Each week, we begin with a 20 minute opening warm-up class led by an experienced instructor in a related movement modality such as yoga, qigong, contact improv, capoeira, kung fu, hiphop and acroyoga. This session warms up bodies and expands skills. The ecstatic dance begins at 7:20pm and ends with a community circle and sacred sound healing music. Children aged 8 years old may enter at no cost, under continuous parent or guardian supervision throughout the event.
