RISE Ecstatic Dance

RISE is a weekly ecstatic dance; a space where you can be in your body, be in your expression, and be in community. Each week, we begin with a 20 minute opening warm-up class led by an experienced instructor in a related movement modality such as yoga, qigong, contact improv, capoeira, kung fu, hiphop and acroyoga. The ecstatic dance begins at 7:50pm and ends with a community circle, sacred sound healing music and acoustic heart songs. Dancers can explore new movements by themselves or with others, finding ecstatic feelings of happiness and connection. Come to groove, deepen your practice, stretch, and have a beautiful dance in a space of freedom.
