KARTINI: a Benefit Concert for Happiness Foundation - Purnama Melissa
KARTINI is a community-focused benefit concert supporting Happiness Foundation, a Bali-based non-profit dedicated to providing education and opportunities for children across the island. Featuring songs of Indonesian artists Tigra Rose, Bella Visogi & Deborah Dian (aka Soratogeta) and Purnama, this concert is inspired by Raden Ajeng Kartini, a pioneering Indonesian figure who fought for women’s rights and access to education in the late 19th century. Her legacy is celebrated annually on Kartini Day, which honors her vision of empowerment, equality, and the importance of education for all. The special evening features live performances from talented women musicians of Indonesian descent, celebrating creativity, culture, and female voices. All proceeds will be donated to Yayasan Happiness, supporting educational supplies for underprivileged children in Bali. Additional cash donations accepted at the door.
